FirstGen Cleaning was founded to honour the hard work, sacrifice, and spirit of our parents, Kidisti and Mulugeta, who immigrated to Canada with the goal of building a better future for their family. After decades of working two jobs, Sending their children to university, and contributing to this country with integrity and resilience, this business is our way of giving something back to them.

Kidisti, our Cleaning Team Lead, brings over 30 years of combined experience alongside our other staff. She has worked as both a professional housekeeper and personal support worker at institutions like Sunnybrook Hospital and the Sheraton Hotel, two of Toronto’s most prestigious establishments. From hotel lobbies and dining halls to Airbnb turnovers and residential deep cleans, Kidisti has cleaned it all with unmatched precision, speed, and care.
